Welcome!My name is Alisha and I am 24 years old.Ive been married for 6 years and I have a 5 year old son.I relocated from southern California to Hawaii.I have been collecting Strawberry Shortcake for a couple of years now.I barely remember her from my childhood.Mostly beacuse I was very young when she was no longer in stores or on television.I had the SSC tricycle.Wish I still had it! :) I also remember having a very glittery pic of SSC sitting on a berry in a wooden frame.I have asked my Mom to search through the garage boxes for it but no luck....we probably sold it at a yard sale years ago! I got re-aquainted with her about 4 years ago when I was living with my friend and she had a green round tin tray with Lime Chiffon and SSC on it saying "Life is the Berries".I commented about how much I loved her and my generous friend gave it to me!:) I used it on my vanity to put my perfume bottles and pocket change and loose jewelry etc in it for about a year.I moved back to my parents house and it got boxed.There it sat for about 3 years until I moved into an apartment with my husband and son.I was unpacking and opened the box it was in.I cleaned it up a bit and since I was now online I decided to try that eBay Ive been hearing so much about.I typed "Strawberry Shortcake" and to my amazement almost 2000 items came up! :) I started with cheap things under $20 like the SSC glass canisters and tins,minis etc.My kitchen is now a SSC motif and I almost have all the regular line dolls with pets.Majority with boxes.:) Ok enough rambling!Enjoy my site...its not great but its my first attempt! :) |
